Angaraki Chaturthi is also known as Angaraki Sankashti Chaturthi. Celebrated by Hindus. Sankashti Chaturthi falls on Tuesday. On this day devotees fast for the whole day to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha. Chaturthi Tithi will start at 8:07 AM on September 13 and end on September 14 at 7:55 AM.

Brahma Muhurta: 4:49 a.m. to 5:36 a.m.

Abhijeet Muhurta: 12:10 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Vijaya Muhurta: 2:39 p.m. to 3:29 p.m.

Godhuli Muhurta is from 6:35 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Angaraki Chaturthi 2022: Method of Worship

On this day, devotees wake up early in the morning and take a bath. Then they worship the idol of Lord Ganesha by reciting hymns, mantras and hymns. Modak is also offered to Lord Ganesha as his favorite sweet prasad. Modaks are distributed as prasad after the aarti is completed.

One of the most important rituals of Angaraki Chaturthi is to observe a one-day fast. On this day, the faithful begin their fast at sunrise and break it in the evening. Some devotees observe a strict fast without eating anything all day. While others observe a partial fast and eat fruits and sago khichdi.
