But what to do to be healthy? Many people continue to follow unhealthy lifestyles, such as staying up late, eating processed and unhealthy foodsnot getting enough sleep, not exercising enough, and not to drink a lot of water.
According to nutritionist Nmami Agarwal, there are five basic principles to follow to strengthen the immune system. They are:
1. Get adequate sleep 7-8 hours.
2. Exercise for at least 30 minutes every day.
3. Eat a healthy diet that includes fruits and vegetables.
4. Stay hydrated.
5. Make sure you eat a nutritious diet high in protein.
Agarwal explained in an Instagram post that it is recommended to “do protein your best friend to meet your daily needs of at least 1 g/kg of your ideal body weight”.
“Always try to add a protein supplement to your meal to fill the protein gap in your diet,” she said, adding that it contains “essential vitamins and minerals [that can] help build muscle and bone strength.
